2025 Global Wine List Awards: Celebrating a Perfect Finale

On September 15, leading figures from the wine and hospitality industries gathered at the Savoy Hotel in London for the 2025 Global Wine List Awards ceremony.

The evening’s top honor went to The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, which won both the 2025 ‘Best Wine List’ and ‘Best Hotel Wine List’ awards. Park Hotel Vossevangen was another significant winner, once again dominating the prestigious Champions’  League, reserved for former Wine List of the Year winners. The Norwegian hotel claimed both the ‘Best Overall Wine List’ and ‘Best By-the-Glass Wine List’ titles in the Champions’ League for 2025.

The United States showed strong performance, securing ten main awards along with two Champions’ League victories, including Brooklyn’s Kru (Best Micro Wine List) and One White Street in Tribeca (Best Half-Bottle List). The UK also stood out, with The Grape Escape in Cheltenham winning Best Value Wine List, while London establishments 67 Pall Mall, Blandford Comptoir, and Frog by Adam Handling received accolades.

Winners came from five continents, including Switzerland’s Einstein Gourmet (Best Large-Format Wine List), Mauritius’s Blue Penny Cellar (Best Long Wine List), and Switzerland’s Wunderbrunnen (Best Dessert and Fortified List). Sydney also excelled, with Shell House awarded Best Medium Wine List and The Wine Bar at The International winning Best Short Wine List.

This award was launched in 2014 and is hosted by Neil Beckett, the editor of The World of Fine Wine and the awards chairman, with support from food editor and judge Francis Percival. The judging panel consists of leading professionals, including world champion sommeliers, masters of wine, and renowned wine writers.
