Danish brand Rains is set to launch a new homeware collection titled ‘Home Away,’ marking its expansion into the design field. This collection includes flasks, bowls, tumblers, and lunch boxes, aimed at meeting consumer demand for a complete lifestyle offering.
All products are made from brushed steel, encapsulating the philosophy: ‘All durable, nothing precious.’ Co-founder Philip Lotko stated, ‘We had to find our point of view; the answer was only ever going to be something modular and clean—items you’d want to use indoors, outdoors, every day.’
This initial drop focuses on kitchen essentials, with each piece designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The inspiration for this collection partly comes from the book “Biophilia” by the late American biologist Edward O. Wilson, who is credited with developing the fields of sociobiology and biophilia.
