Tony Hawk Comments on Drake’s “Bootleg” Vintage Birdhouse Skateboards Hoodie

Information about Drake‘s Birdhouse Skateboards hoodie has surfaced, and it looks like the one that Drake bought for $350 USD turns out to be the real deal. The Alpine-Green hoodie originally caught the attention of the skating and fashion world when legend Tony Hawk called the hoodie out for being a fake.

The seller, paul_doesnt_exist, confirmed the hoodie to be an official release. The seller mentioned that it could have come off as a bootleg as he replaced the missing drawstring with his own. The best thing to come out of all this is that Tony Hawk used some of his entrepreneurial expertise and reissued the hoodie under the name of the “Degrassi” hoodie — a reference to Drake’s role as Jimmy Brooks on the Degrassi show.
