Willem Dafoe is Rumoured to Make An Appearance in ‘Spider-Man 3’

Marvel‘s Spider-Man 3 is gearing up to be one of the most ambitious superhero movies ever.

Rumours from The Illuminerdi are suggesting that both Willem Dafoe and Thomas Haden Church are set to appear as the Green Goblin and Sandman from Sam Raimi’s trilogy. Both actors are currently negotiating their casting deals and nothing has been finalised, sources reveal that the two characters were always been part of Marvel’s plan for Spider-Man 3.

The news comes after numerous castings have already been made from the older generations of Spider-Man films. It has already been confirmed that Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are reprising their roles as Electro from Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the Doc Ock from Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, while recent reports suggest that Andrew Garfield will be returning as the friendly neighbourhood superhero.
