Tinder Reveals End of Year Dating Report

Tinder has just released its year-end report that looks back at its Gen-Z users; the dating app has assembled a list of top trends experienced this year.

Leading this year’s “Essential Trends” included the support for the BLM movement, bios included phrases like: “If you don’t support BLM, we aren’t gonna work.” This was followed by pandemic-related requests in users’ bios like hygiene and masking wearing. The next trend from  Gen-Z users was the incorporation of TikTok mentions/comments. The incorporation of TikTok and being “TikTok Famous” grew eight times in 2020.

The report also reveals the top songs on Tinder. The top spot obviously goes to Cardi B’s “WAP,” followed by Drake and Lil Durk’s “Laugh Now Cry Later,” and DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch’s “ROCKSTAR.”
