Will ‘Spider-Man 3’ See the Introduction of Miles Morales?

It’s rumoured that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have found an actor to play the young hero. Alongside this, it is also rumoured that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire have signed on for Spider-Man 3. We first saw Maguire take on the role of Peter Parker in 2002’s Spider-Man. He then went on to star in Spider-Man 2 and 3 before the role was handed over the Garfield. Sources also have revealed that the sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home will see the introduction of Miles Morales. Sony and Marvel are yet to confirm this information; however they’re keeping things under lock to avoid any spoilers.

There may be a few more familiar faces in the new Marvel film as Jamie Foxx and Benedict Cumberbatch have also been named as supporting actors in the upcoming film as their return had been initially leaked. According to sources, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have found a new actor to portray the younger Spider-Man. If rumoured to be true, Spider-Man 3 could really see the Marvel Cinematic Universe introduce the multiverse involving multiple Spider-Men and their respective villains.

The new film is still yet to be officially titled but will be directed by Jon Watts. Spider-Man 3 will hit our cinema screens December 17, 2021 but could potentially be pushed back to 2022.
