The New Adidas Ultra4D in Triple Black

Earlier this year, adidas launched the Ultra4D in the original “Core Black” UltraBOOST colorway, and now we’ve been treated to the on-foot look of the latest triple black offering courtesy of @Yankeekicks.

Like its predecessor, the Adidas Ultra4D in triple black features a black 4D-printed sole unit made of light and oxygen by Digital Light Synthesis. The result is a single unit that is beautifully cushioned and supportive, with just enough bounce to make the shoe a perfect running pair, just like the UltraBOOST used to serve so well.

A black Primeknit top is intersected with a grey Primeknit to produce this almost 3D-shaped effect of little squares all over the shoe. This contrasts with the solid knitted blocks of grey on the toe that help offer form and structure to the sneaker, as well as elements such as the single-toned tongue that makes it stand out against the rest of the shoe.

Glossy black Three Stripe branding appears on a matte black mid-panel cage forming an Ultra4D-branded heel cup in the back portion. This pair is rounded off by the adidas logo on the Continental rubber outsole toe.
